Ontario Integrity Commissioner Launches Greenbelt Investigation

The Integrity Commissioner of Ontario will investigate a complaint against Municipal Affairs and Housing Minister Steve Clark and his decision to open the protected Greenbelt to build houses.

Incoming NDP leader Marit Stiles has asked the commissioner to look into what she calls “curious timing of recent purchases of Greenbelt land by powerful landowners with donor and political ties to the Ontario PC Party.”

Stiles pointed to media reports that some developers purchased that land over the past few years despite Clark and the premier previously publicly saying it wouldn’t be developed, two months before Clark announced he’d open the lands up.

Clark announced in November that the Ontario government will take away land from 15 different areas of the protected Greenbelt. However, it will add acres elsewhere so that 50,000 homes can be built. Stiles asked the integrity commissioner to investigate whether Clark violated ethics rules around making a public policy decision to further someone’s private interests. Clark and Premier Doug Ford have both denied that before the public announcement.

The Ontario government is under fire for plans to open up protected Greenbelt land for housing construction. Laurie Carr, chief of Hiawatha First Nation, says there has been no consultation with her people about land rights.

The Intersection of Free Speech, Woke Culture, and Citizen Journalism: A Perspective from the World Economic Forum and the Citizen Journalists Interviewing Attendees at Davos! Will we ever get the truth?

I find myself thinking that the world has gone insane, and that sane people are in the silent majority. Our society seems to feel that it’s their fault about the problems with the climate, at least that’s what the WEF want is to feel that we’ve done this damage.

Yet all the big corporations who have caused this climate disaster, are not taking responsibility for the damage they’ve caused…… instead they’re coming after the little hard-working folks as the perpetrators of the so-called “climate disaster”.

I don’t believe for one minute that our climate can’t fix whatever damage has been caused. I believe in mother nature that has survived and will continue to survive long after we have all passed away. Man is responsible for whatever is going on now…. and please don’t blame the cows for this.

Once again, as I have said, the “woke” culture seems to be the loudest voices heard around and not the reasonable voices. This is all propaganda, and someone is making big bucks from all this nonsense. Well, let’s see what’s in store for us today with the World Economic Forum at Davos!! I have videos regarding the “woke” culture, plus tidbits from the WEF and a bit of comedy. Because let me tell you, that if you don’t laugh at this foolishness, then you’ll need to cry!!

Davos and the World Economic Forum 2023

WHAT’S THIS ALL ABOUT?

Davos is an international city in Switzerland that hosts the World Economic Forum each year. The WEF was founded by Klaus Schwab in 1971 and focuses on improving the state of the world through public-private partnerships.

World Economic Forum 2023

The World Economic Forum is a non-profit foundation based in Switzerland. Its mission is to improve the state of the world by engaging leaders in partnership with governments, international organizations, and civil society to shape global, regional and industry agendas.

The World Economic Forum’s vision is to create greater prosperity for all by advancing economic collaboration and globalization through public-private cooperation.

The World Economic Forum is a not-for-profit foundation formally established in 1971. It organizes the annual meeting of the world’s political and business leaders in Davos, Switzerland, and brings together 3,000 participants from about 130 countries around the world.

  • Companies Not Attending: The list of companies not attending the event this year is noticeably longer than usual. It includes Uber, Samsung, Cisco, IBM, Intel and HP. All six have announced that they are either working on projects or have already built autonomous vehicles that could be used at a later date.

It’s very likely that these companies have decided not to attend because they believe the event is no longer relevant. They may also be wary of their competitors being there and stealing their ideas.

Politicans Attending

The World Economic Forum is a big event. It’s in Davos, Switzerland and it’s where all the world’s most important people get together to talk about important things like how they can improve the world economy.

Politicians from every country will be attending, including those with good human rights records (like Israel) and those with bad ones (like Russia). This means that when you meet one of these people, you’ll have a good chance of getting their autograph! But do be careful: not all politicians are kind or generous to fans.

The WEF is an international organization dedicated to improving the state of the world.

The World Economic Forum is a multinational organization that holds a yearly meeting of the world’s economic and political elites. The WEF was established in 1971 by Klaus Schwab, who wanted to take advantage of the growing international interest in economic issues following World War II. The WEF hosts its annual meetings at different venues around the world, including Davos, Switzerland; Caux, Switzerland; Dalian, China; Bled Slovenia; and Tianjin China.

The WEF describes itself as “a unique global community committed to improving the state of the world”. Its mission statement says it aims through “innovative thinking” and collaboration with leading thinkers from all over the world to improve systems such as education or health care.

The World Economic Forum is a unique place where leaders from all sectors come together to discuss the most pressing issues of our time.

Cryptocurrency is the topic in the news these days, since the collapse of FTX and Sam Bankman-Fried. Now Binance is under the scrutiny of the US. Subpoenas have been sent to the hedge fund in probe of crypto exchange Binance stablecoin BUSD.

Of course, the subpoenas are alluding to money laundering. You don’t need to use crypto for money laundering…. it’s easier to launder money using Fiat currency. For me, you can see that the governments are losing power over their own currencies, so they are using cryptocurrency as a scapegoat!! Finally, on a brighter note, I moved into more practical tips that included: 3 tips for saving money in 2023 amid rising costs of living!!
